Overview

Goldfern Zero Gravity Electric Lift Recliner Chair

The Goldfern Zero Gravity Electric Lift Recliner Chair is the most position-flexible chair in Goldfern's current lift-chair range. It adds a third motor for independent tilt-in-space to the separate backrest and leg-rest motors found on the standard dual-motor chair, while retaining powered sit-to-stand assistance.

The chair supports users up to 150 kg and uses the same approximately 440 mm seat width and 530 mm seat depth as Goldfern's standard dual-motor lift recliner. The main reason to choose the Zero Gravity model is the additional whole-chair tilt function rather than extra seat width or higher capacity.

Where the Zero Gravity Chair Fits in the Goldfern Range

Goldfern's standard Dual Motor Lift Recliner independently controls the backrest and leg rest. The Heavy Duty model keeps that dual-motor arrangement but increases seat width and user capacity. The Zero Gravity chair instead adds a third motor so the seated position can tilt as a unit.

Choose this model when additional positioning flexibility matters. Choose the Heavy Duty model when the priority is a wider 545 mm seat or 220 kg capacity.

Independent Back, Leg and Tilt Adjustment

The three motors allow the backrest, leg rest and chair tilt to be adjusted separately. This makes it possible to fine-tune the relationship between upper-body recline, leg elevation and whole-seat angle rather than having those movements tied together.

What Tilt-in-Space Means

Tilt-in-space changes the angle of the seated position as a unit while largely maintaining the relationship between the seat and backrest. It creates another way to alter posture and weight distribution beyond ordinary recline.

The term “zero gravity” describes a supported reclined positioning style; it should not be taken as a promise of a medical outcome. If a particular position has been recommended for a clinical reason, follow the advice of the relevant health professional.

Powered Lift Assistance

The lift function raises and tilts the chair forward to assist the transition from sitting toward standing. The user still needs enough balance and an appropriate transfer plan to stand safely once supported.

Battery Backup and Home Practicality

An external battery backup provides limited backup operation during a power outage when correctly maintained. The backrest is removable for easier delivery and installation, magazine pockets are fitted on both sides, and the extra-long hand-control cable can be positioned for left- or right-side use.
