The KaaSpeed K1S is a high-performance recreational self-balancing electric scooter designed for suitable private-property, golf-course and off-road leisure use. A Recreational E-Scooter, Not a Medical Mobility Scooter

The K1S is designed around active rider control and balance. The rider stands on the platform and steers the self-balancing scooter rather than sitting in a conventional mobility-scooter seat.

That means suitability depends on balance, coordination, reaction time and confidence as well as body weight. It should not be treated as a substitute for a medical mobility scooter where seated support, low-speed stability or disability-specific controls are required.

Self-Balancing Platform and Fat Tyres

The self-balancing control system helps keep the platform level while the rider controls direction and speed. The 18 x 9.5-8 fat tyres provide a wide contact patch for appropriate recreational surfaces, with Standard or Off Road tyre choices depending on the intended use.

Wide tyres do not remove the need for careful riding. Loose sand, wet grass, steep slopes and uneven ground can still reduce traction or upset balance.

48V 19.2Ah LG Battery and 89 Nm Torque

The removable 48V 19.2Ah LG battery powers the K1S, with a stated range of approximately 50 km and torque of 89 Nm. Charging takes around 6.4 hours.

Actual range depends on rider weight, speed, tyre choice, gradients, temperature, surface and battery condition. High-speed or soft-surface riding can reduce distance considerably.

45 km/h Performance Requires Appropriate Use

A top speed of up to approximately 45 km/h makes the K1S significantly faster than a mobility scooter. Speed should always be selected to suit the environment, rider ability and local rules.

The hydraulic disc brake provides strong stopping control, but stopping distance still increases with speed, rider load and slippery or loose surfaces.
