The Pride Mobility Rubber Threshold Ramp is a modular recycled-rubber access ramp for small thresholds, low steps and changes in floor level. Choose a complete ramp kit for a new installation, or an individual section to extend or repair an existing compatible Pride ramp.

Buying a new ramp? Choose “Complete ramp kit — all sections included”, then select the finished rise you need. A complete kit includes one of every required section from 2.54 cm (1") up to your selected height. You do not need to add the lower sections separately.

Individual sections are not complete higher-rise ramps. For example, the 5.08 cm (2") section on its own does not make a complete 5.08 cm (2") ramp: the 2.54 cm (1") and 3.81 cm (1.5") sections are also required.

How to Choose and Order

1. Choose kit or individual section. Select Complete ramp kit — all sections included when starting from scratch. Select Individual section only — add-on/replacement only when you need a specific piece for an existing compatible system.

2. Select the rise or section height. For a complete kit, this is the finished vertical rise of the assembled ramp. For an individual section, it identifies the section supplied; it does not mean you receive all the pieces needed for a ramp of that height.

3. Check the selection and add to cart. Quantity 1 of a complete kit means one full set of the required sections for that rise. Quantity 1 of an individual section means one selected section only.

Example: a Complete 5.08 cm (2") Ramp

A 5.08 cm (2-inch) complete kit includes the 2.54 cm (1"), 3.81 cm (1.5") and 5.08 cm (2") sections. The complete kit price is $480, made up of $150 + $160 + $170. Choose the complete kit and add quantity 1 to your cart.

The $431.8 cm (170")dividual 5.08 cm (2") section is an add-on or replacement only. It is appropriate when you already have the required 2.54 cm (1") and 3.81 cm (1.5") sections.

The height labels are not added together. The sections interlock in their intended sequence to form a continuous ramp with the selected finished rise. They are not separate ramps to stack arbitrarily on top of one another.

Adding to an Existing Ramp

Already have a complete 3.81 cm (1.5") Pride ramp? Add the individual 5.08 cm (2") section to extend it to a 5.08 cm (2") finished rise. Starting with only the 2.54 cm (1") base? You need both the 3.81 cm (1.5") and 5.08 cm (2") sections to reach a complete 5.08 cm (2") configuration. Do not skip intermediate sections.

The 2.54 cm (1") base section is the exception: it forms the lowest complete ramp by itself. The 2.54 cm (1") complete kit and individual 2.54 cm (1") section therefore contain the same single base section.

Measure the Threshold Before Ordering

Measure the vertical rise from the lower surface to the upper landing, together with the available approach space, doorway clearance and the width needed by your mobility device. Check that the assembled ramp's incline and clearances are suitable for the wheelchair, powerchair or mobility scooter being used.

The supporting surfaces must be firm, stable and suitable for the complete ramp configuration. Use every required section, follow Pride's setup instructions and check the combined load against the ramp rating. The system's recommended maximum incline is approximately 4° (7%); your mobility device may have its own limits. Do not assume a ramp is suitable simply because the rise matches.

Can I use a higher individual section by itself?

No, not as a complete ramp from ground level. Sections above 2.54 cm (1") require all the preceding sections in the intended Pride modular configuration. Do not skip the lower or intermediate sections.

Can I buy a section to extend a ramp I already own?
