icare Curve Pillow – Low-Profile ActiveX™ Neck and Shoulder Support

The icare Curve Pillow is the lowest-profile option in iCare’s main pillow range. Its ergonomic curved shape is designed to sit neatly around the shoulder line while supporting the head and neck without creating the height of a conventional pillow.

At approximately 560 x 340 mm with a profile of 50–80 mm, it is particularly useful for people who naturally need less pillow height, including petite users, children and some people spending extended periods in bed. The high-density ActiveX™ core responds to body warmth and gradually softens around the head and neck rather than feeling like a fixed block of foam.

The removable four-way-stretch cotton/Elastex top cover allows the surface to contour with the user, while breathable Vant® fabric around the sides and base encourages airflow. Despite its compact profile, the Curve Pillow is designed to fit a standard-size pillow slip.

Is the Curve Pillow the Right iCare Pillow for You?

Choose the Curve when the main requirement is a low pillow height and a shape that accommodates the shoulders. If you prefer a familiar traditional shape, compare the Classic. If you want distinct high and low neck contours, the Contour may be a better fit. For a softer, fuller pillow feel, look at the Cloud; for the greatest ability to alter height and support, consider the modular Conform.

Pillow height is highly individual. Shoulder width, sleeping position, body shape and the amount you sink into the mattress all affect the height needed to keep the neck comfortably aligned. A softer or more immersive mattress lets the shoulder sink further and can change the pillow height that feels right, so it is worth considering the mattress and pillow together.

Choosing the Correct Pillow Height

A pillow should fill the space between the head, neck and mattress without forcing the neck noticeably upward or allowing the head to drop too far. Side sleepers often require more height than back or front sleepers, but mattress immersion can change this substantially. The Curve is deliberately low, so it is best chosen because the user genuinely needs that lower profile rather than simply because it looks compact.
