icare Cloud Pillow – Plush Comfort with a Removable ActiveX™ Core

The icare Cloud Pillow is the softest, fullest-feeling option in iCare’s main pillow range. It combines a microfibre-filled cotton comfort layer with a temperature-responsive ActiveX™ core, creating a pillow that feels plush on the surface while still providing a more supportive core underneath.

Measuring approximately 630 x 420 x 130 mm, the Cloud has a noticeably fuller profile than the Classic, Curve or Contour. The ActiveX™ core can also be removed if an even softer, less structured feel is preferred. iCare describes the Cloud as suitable for all sleepers, although the right height still depends on sleeping position, shoulder width and mattress immersion.

Pinhole ventilation through the core and hollow fibres in the cover help encourage airflow. The microfibre-filled cotton cover is anti-allergy and removable for washing, and the pillow fits a standard-size pillow slip.

Is the Cloud the Right iCare Pillow for You?

Choose the Cloud when the priority is a soft, plush pillow feel rather than a pronounced ergonomic contour. Compare the Classic if you want a more conventional supportive foam feel with a lower 110 mm profile, the Contour if you want defined high and low neck-support edges, the Curve if you need very little height, or the Conform if you want to actively alter the pillow’s support configuration.

The Cloud’s 130 mm overall height can suit people who like a fuller pillow, but pillow height should always be considered with the mattress. A side sleeper on a firmer mattress may need more height than someone whose shoulder sinks deeply into a softer mattress.

Choosing Between Softness and Support

A very soft pillow is not automatically the right pillow for every sleeper. The important question is whether the head and neck remain comfortably supported once the pillow compresses. The Cloud is designed to combine surface softness with an ActiveX™ support core, and the removable core allows some adjustment to the overall feel. If you need a clearly defined neck contour rather than plushness, the Contour or Conform may be more appropriate.
