Pride Mobility Jazzy Carbon Ultra Light - Your Greatest Travel Companion

The Pride Mobility Jazzy Carbon Ultra Light is an ultra-light folding power chair designed for people who want true portability without giving up everyday independence. Built from carbon fibre and weighing just 14.5 kg without the battery, it is easy to fold, lift and store while still delivering the confidence of powered mobility. It is especially well suited to users who travel often, need a compact chair for car trips or want a power chair that feels much easier to manage than a traditional rigid model.

Key Features

  • Ultra-light carbon fibre frame weighing just 14.5 kg without the battery.
  • One-touch folding design for quick transport and storage.
  • Up to 6.4 km/h maximum speed for controlled everyday use.
  • Up to 20 km range with the standard 10Ah lithium battery.
  • Comfort-focused seat with mesh backrest and supportive cushion.
  • Compact turning radius for easier manoeuvring in tight spaces.
  • Solid tyres and a front suspension setup for improved ride comfort.
  • Airline-compliant lithium battery option for travel flexibility.

More Information

The Jazzy Carbon Ultra Light is designed around portability first, but it still aims to feel practical and reassuring in daily use. The carbon fibre frame keeps the chair exceptionally light, while the folding design makes it far easier to fit into a car boot, store in the home or prepare for travel. For riders who want a powered chair that is easier to lift and handle, that difference is immediately noticeable.

Comfort and usability are still central to the design. The seat is compact but supportive, the controls are straightforward, and the front suspension helps take some of the edge off indoor and smooth outdoor surfaces. This makes it a strong choice for people who mainly need mobility support for shopping, appointments, travel and general day-to-day independence, rather than rough terrain.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The chair weighs just 14.5 kg without the battery, making it one of the lightest powered chairs in its class.

Is it easy to fold?

Yes. It uses a one-touch folding system designed to make transport and storage quick and convenient.

How far can it travel?

With the standard 10Ah lithium battery, range is up to 20 km depending on conditions, terrain and rider weight.

Is it suitable for travel?

Can it be used outdoors?

It is best suited to indoor use and flat, smooth outdoor paths or pavements. It is not intended for grass, gravel or steep slopes.

Can it be delivered in New Zealand?

We can and do deliver to customers across New Zealand — however, powerchairs are more complex products and can be sizeable, so we generally recommend finding a local retailer who can provide hands-on service and ongoing support. It is also a good idea to test-drive or trial a powerchair before committing to a purchase. MoveSmart focuses its sales and servicing within the Central Plateau region, but we are always happy to chat. Get in touch and we can offer advice, suggest a trusted dealer closer to you, or work with you to tailor a solution. It is also a good idea to check airline and travel requirements before flying with any battery-powered chair.

AA Mobility Care Membership
Yellow Auto Centre building with AA Motoring branding under a blue sky.

AA Mobility Care Membership provides peace of mind with comprehensive cover for your mobility equipment.

Every mobility scooter purchased via MoveSmart Mobility Equipment now comes with a 3 year AA Mobility Care Membership!

Where a nominated mobility scooter has become immobile, the AA will attend and, and if they are unable to mobilise the scooter, they will either:

Deliver the owner to their home address and arrange for the mobility scooter to be delivered to the owner's home address as soon as practicable or, if the owner wishes to remain with the mobility scooter, the AA will arrange for recover of both the mobility scooter and the owner to the owner's home address by means of a taxi van. This service is free of charge to the owner, as the cost of the taxi is charged back to the AA.

The AA will not attend any mobility scooter that is immobile at the owner's home address which requires repairs to be carried out.

Mobility Van or Taxi Assistance

Within metropolitan areas only, where mobility vans are available, the AA will make all necessary arrangements to ensure both the owner and their mobility scooter are transported to the owner's home address (or an alternative address as specified by the owner at the time, providing that the distance to the alternative address is no greater than to the home address).

In order for the AA to provide service, the owner must remain with the mobility scooter until the AA Service Provider arrives.
