It combines front and rear CTS suspension, a high-back seat with comfort-focused support and a full LED lighting package to help deliver a smoother, more confident ride outdoors. With a strong 24V rear-wheel-drive system and a practical user-friendly console, the Outback is built for people who want freedom beyond smooth pavements.

More Information

The Outback is designed to feel stable, comfortable and confidence-inspiring when the path gets less predictable. It is particularly well suited to walking trails, property use and rougher outdoor conditions where a standard scooter would feel out of its depth. The combination of suspension, lighting and safety features makes it a capable outdoor machine, while the comfort seat and intuitive controls keep it practical enough for regular use.

The scooter’s seating setup is a standout feature, with a black vinyl high-back seat, limited recline, lumbar support and a pillow-top headrest helping to reduce fatigue on longer rides. Flip-up, angle-adjustable armrests and the wraparound delta tiller make it easier to settle into a comfortable riding position, and the built-in console adds day-to-day convenience with useful ride information at a glance.

Can it be delivered in New Zealand?

We can and do deliver to customers across New Zealand — however, mobility scooters are more complex products and can be sizeable, so we generally recommend finding a local retailer who can provide hands-on service and ongoing support. It is also a good idea to test-drive or trial a mobility scooter before committing to a purchase. MoveSmart focuses its sales and servicing within the Central Plateau region, but we are always happy to chat.

Get in touch and we can offer advice, suggest a trusted dealer closer to you, or work with you to tailor a solution.

AA Mobility Care Membership
Yellow Auto Centre building with AA Motoring branding under a blue sky.

AA Mobility Care Membership provides peace of mind with comprehensive cover for your mobility equipment.

Every mobility scooter purchased via MoveSmart Mobility Equipment now comes with a 3 year AA Mobility Care Membership!

Where a nominated mobility scooter has become immobile, the AA will attend and, and if they are unable to mobilise the scooter, they will either:

Deliver the owner to their home address and arrange for the mobility scooter to be delivered to the owner's home address as soon as practicable or, if the owner wishes to remain with the mobility scooter, the AA will arrange for recover of both the mobility scooter and the owner to the owner's home address by means of a taxi van. This service is free of charge to the owner, as the cost of the taxi is charged back to the AA.

The AA will not attend any mobility scooter that is immobile at the owner's home address which requires repairs to be carried out.

Mobility Van or Taxi Assistance

Within metropolitan areas only, where mobility vans are available, the AA will make all necessary arrangements to ensure both the owner and their mobility scooter are transported to the owner's home address (or an alternative address as specified by the owner at the time, providing that the distance to the alternative address is no greater than to the home address).

In order for the AA to provide service, the owner must remain with the mobility scooter until the AA Service Provider arrives.
