Its particularly broad 60–300 kg user-weight range also makes it relevant for higher-weight and bariatric users where the mattress dimensions and full care setup are appropriate.

The 150 mm-high M1 uses a firm XP Support base and reinforced sides to create a stable platform for turning, repositioning and transfers. Firm edge support provides a predictable perimeter for sitting at the side of the bed, while the waterproof Zerotec™ medical cover and SlideSkin™ anti-shear technology support hygiene and help reduce friction and shear during movement.

Choose the M2 when High Risk pressure care is required but a Medium Feel and castellated surface are preferred for a balance of immersion and mobility. Choose the M3 when a softer Plush Feel, greater immersion and ActiveFloat™ pressure redistribution are the priority.

Why Choose a Firm Medical Mattress?

A firmer, lower-immersion surface can make it easier for some users to roll, reposition and push up from the bed. It can also provide a more predictable edge for lateral transfers or standing transfers. This is one of the M1’s main strengths.
